Bull City Arts Collaborative 401-B1 Foster Street Durham NC 27701 Contact Person: Dave Wofford/Kenny Dalsheimer District: Central Park Visit Website: Visit Website Bull City Arts Collaborative is a five person artists' workspace with two exhibiton venues. The BCAC currently houses... --The Groove Productions, Kenny Dalsheimer's documentary film and video studio. --Horse & Buggy Press, Dave Wofford's design and letterpress shop. --Fort Grunt, the art studio of Lou Joseph and Ben Fisher working collaboratively from conception to exectuion on art objects. --Cadmean Dawn, the publishing arm of the Mountain Goats. The Upfront Gallery is open every Friday from noon to 2 and primarily features the work of guest artists. This space is curated by Dave and will occasionally feature the output of BCAC projects as well as being lent to outside guest curators. The Aquarium is the 24/7 project window curated and managed by Fort Grunt. The BCAC is interested in collaborating with individuals and organizations on art and community projects and we welcome ideas and proposals. The BCAC will have open studios for all Third Friday Durham Culture Crawls from 6-9pm. DDMA Member: Yes |
